Christine & Paul Wedding Day!!!

They are such a fun couple!!  What an absolutely beautiful day for a wedding!  Christine made such a beautiful bride.  We had to post some photos of their wedding last week.  The groom Paul looked great too!  Photographing a Church wedding without flash is a required skill.  Most churches do not allow any flash photography during the ceremony.   Knowing how to capture moments without flash is sets us apart from the “have camera will photograph a wedding for $500.”

Stay tuned for their complete album design.

Christine & Paul

We are so excited about Christine & Paul’s wedding next weekend!!  We have been photographing a lot of weddings lately that include pets!  Their dogs are so much a part of their life that we couldn’t imagine the engagements session without their beloved doggies.  Coronado Dog Beach is so much fun the photograph at.  The dogs could run around, play, and even meet some new four legged friends!

Enjoy some of the teaser images from their session!!  Stay tuned for their wedding images!!!

We Have A New Studio Mascot!!

Alison & I have a new edition to our lives.  A 16 week old Old English Bulldogge named One of a Kind Maggie or Maggie for short!!!   Ary from One of a Kind Olde English Bulldogges has been so wonderfull to work with!  He trained her so well.  She can  sit on command! Her best trick has been flopping on the floor and napping!  Shes an expert at doing that.

We had to take some photos right away, to document her at all the puppy stages.  Just a few of our favorite expressions!  We hope you enjoy!  If you would  like photography of your pet, give us a call!

A Repeat Performance Is What We Strive For.

One of the best complements we can receive is when a past client hires us to photograph their next child getting married.  We pride ourselves on under selling and over delivering for our clients.  We are especially proud that they invest their trust in us a second time to deliver beautiful images of their large extended family arriving from coast to coast.

We recently booked a wedding for August that is the sister of a past client.  The father of the bride couldn’t imagine having someone other than us photograph their other daughter’s wedding!!

Stories like this is what makes our heart sing!!

Sometimes The Best Plan Is The Backup Plan!

We always stress to our clients professionalism as one of our traits.  Part of being professional is being prepared.  In wedding photography, being prepared is more than just the boy scouts motto!   Alison and I ALWAYS have back up equipment, for those just in case moments  when  Uncle Ned knocks one of us over on the dance floor, or for the common but unexpected twists that happen at every special event.

We were photographing a corporate event a few weeks ago  and as we were scouting around for new and interesting places to photograph we noticed there was a wedding in a near by ballroom.  Later on in the evening, the wedding couples’  hired photographer approached us, as pale as a ghost.  He had broken his ONLY flash and was wondering if we could lend him one of ours.  He didn’t have any back up equipment. Just one camera, one lens, and one flash.  At the time I remember saying to myself, I don’t go to the zoo with that little equipment, let along an event that we are hired for! Read more
